Start early with darshan at Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi, a 5 minute walk from your room. Later take an auto to Dwarkadhish Temple in the old city, then walk down to Vishram Ghat on the Yamuna for the evening aarti. Timings change by season, so check locally on the day.
The old city lanes are narrow and busy, so it is easier to come back to a room near Janmabhoomi than to stay inside the market area itself.
