The Banke Bihari temple calendar, checked October 24, lists Roop Chaturdashi on November 7 and Deepavali on November 8, 2026. Use those dates when asking about your stay, then check the particular temples you want to visit for their own current notices.
Build your visit around confirmed hours
Start with your train or road arrival, check-in date and the temple visit that matters most to your group. Keep time between visits for meals, travel and rest. Do not assume that normal darshan hours apply unchanged on a festival, or that a special aarti, lighting programme or road restriction has been announced.
A simple two-day outline is a Mathura day followed by a Vrindavan day. Around Diwali, change that order to match confirmed temple notices and your travel dates. The two-day itinerary provides the ordinary route; this festival guide does not sell a package or guarantee darshan.
Choose your base and return journey
A Mathura stay can fit a plan that includes Janmabhoomi, Dwarkadhish and Vishram Ghat alongside Vrindavan. If most of your time is in Vrindavan, compare accommodation there too. Choose according to the visits you actually want to make.
For a stay at Shri Govind Braj Dham, check the address and arrival details. Ask the driver about the permitted drop-off point, parking, waiting and return terms for your travel day. We have not verified any special Diwali road closure or temporary parking rule; check current local instructions before setting off.
Compare the complete room quote
A headline starting price is not a confirmed festival rate. Compare quotes for the same dates, room count and guest ages. Confirm the total including taxes, whether breakfast is separate, payment terms and cancellation conditions. Request a separate transport quote if needed.
