What to confirm before leaving
Check the temple's current darshan notice, your group's arrival time and the return journey. A festival date alone does not confirm extended opening hours, an evening programme or a particular queue time. Follow the official notice for the temple you plan to visit rather than relying on an old forwarded timetable.

A practical visit from Mathura
Banke Bihari is about 10 km from Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi, with roughly 30–40 minutes by road as a planning range. This does not include a guaranteed queue time or final approach on foot. Confirm the vehicle's actual drop-off point and agree the return arrangement before starting.
Choose one main darshan visit. Add another stop only if the confirmed opening hours and your group's energy allow it. Same-day return or an overnight stay?
Compare your expected return with the departure you have actually booked. An overnight stay can be practical for a late arrival or a family that prefers a break; it is not automatically included in a day itinerary. For a longer visit, the two-day plan separates Mathura and Vrindavan days.
